Well folks, it’s official! I will be unemployed in 3 weeks time.

Today I handed in my notice at work. I was a complete ball of nerves when I asked my supervisor for a private meeting but it was all for nothing as she was incredibly sweet and understanding. Most of my team knew before I went into the meeting that I was leaving as I started telling them a few weeks prior. Everyone is really supportive - though some do question my sanity and rightly so. But overall people have been wonderful and excited for me.

The overarching trend seems to be comments such as, ‘I wish I had done that when I could have’ or ‘Man I wish I had the balls to do that’. Which is something I hope maybe I can show people with this blog - that you still can do it! It just has to become a priority.

So here’s to another step towards making this whole traveling the world for who knows how long a reality!
